About the role

We are looking for a Product Lead to join our Insurance Product team, who will work closely with the Head of Insurance Product and help turn our insurance strategy into successful digital products across six markets.

You will take a leading role in shaping and delivering insurance initiatives, from exploring opportunities and defining the proposition to building the business case, working with insurance partners, shaping the digital solution, preparing the organisation for launch, and driving product performance.

This is a role at the intersection of insurance, business and technology. You will combine commercial and insurance expertise with strong digital product thinking, working across partners, pricing, economics, customer experience, technology, regulation, operations, distribution and go-to-market.

What you’ll do

• Lead new insurance products from idea to market and beyond.

• Research customer needs, competitors and market opportunities.

• Translate business and customer needs into digital product solutions.

• Work closely with engineering on solution design, requirements and trade-offs.

• Make pragmatic decisions between business value, customer experience, complexity and development effort.

• Work with legal and compliance to ensure products meet regulatory requirements.

• Design the operational model, including sales, servicing and claims journeys.

• Work with marketing and country teams on go-to-market.

• Coordinate launches across functions and countries.

• Track product performance and drive continuous improvement.

• Use data and customer insights to validate assumptions and support product decisions.

What we expect from you

• Experience building digital products in insurance, fintech, banking or a similar industry.

• Proven experience as a Product Manager, Product Lead or in a similar role, taking digital financial products from concept to launch and growth.

• Strong understanding of how modern digital products are designed, built and operated.

• Ability to work confidently with software engineers and participate in technical solution discussions.

• Strong commercial and business understanding.

• Ability to shape insurance propositions, pricing and customer journeys.

• Experience building business cases and understanding product economics.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives without formal authority.

• Strong ownership mentality: you do not just define the product, you get it launched and make it successful.

• Strong understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, and the ability to identify where AI can meaningfully improve customer experience, product economics and internal operations.
