About the role

We are looking for a Legal Counsel with strong expertise in regulated financial services to join our team

In this role, you will work across a wide range of financial services topics in a dynamic, multi-jurisdictional environment. You will support the Group’s operations and strategic initiatives while contributing to legal and compliance matters across Iute Group

We are looking for someone who is broad in scope, hands-on in execution, commercially minded, and comfortable working independently across different topics

What you’ll do

• Provide legal and regulatory support across multiple financial services areas, including capital markets, lending, payments, insurance, and banking

• Advise on financial services regulation across multiple jurisdictions

• Assess licensing requirements and regulatory boundaries

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial and financial agreements

• Support product development and operational matters from a legal and compliance perspective

• Contribute to regulatory projects and cross-border initiatives

• Support corporate governance and group structuring matters

• Assist with regulatory interactions and ongoing compliance requirements

What we expect from you

• Qualified lawyer (EU jurisdiction preferred)

• Master’s degree in Law

• Strong experience in financial services regulation, such as banking, payments, insurance, or capital markets

• Understanding of multi-jurisdictional regulatory environments

• Strong drafting and negotiation skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple topics in parallel

• Commercially minded approach with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives

• Strong sense of ownership, adaptability and hands-on mindset

• Fluency in Estonian and English, both spoken and written

Nice to have

• Experience with debt capital markets, including bond issuances

• Experience in fintech, banking, or lending environments

Hiring process

We start with a screening interview with a Talent Partner. Next, you will meet the hiring manager, the Group Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, for a one-on-one interview.
