Why this role matters

We are looking for a Software Engineer, FinTech to help build next-generation digital banking and lending products for cash-centric markets. This is a hands-on engineering role with a real-world impact: your work will make financial services faster, more accessible, and more secure for millions of users.

You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders in a cross-functional team to create scalable and modern financial solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain high-performance backend systems with Java and Spring Boot

  • Design and implement integrations with external systems and registries, payment platforms, and APIs (e.g., SEPA, SWIFT)

  • Ensure speed, reliability, and scalability for high-volume transaction systems

  • Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions

  • Mentor junior developers and advocate for clean, maintainable code

  • Drive solutions from idea to production with a clear focus on customer and business impact

What we’re looking for

  • Strong experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot (frontend experience is a plus)

  • Solid understanding of scalable systems, databases, and microservices architecture

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, and orchestration (e.g., AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written

  • Experience in fintech is an advantage but not mandatory

  • Proactive mindset, sense of ownership, and ability to work independently

  • Comfort working in Agile teams and collaborating across disciplines

  • Curiosity about the business side and motivation to create real impact
